WebDesigns Ltd., has several different production areas. Each one of these production areas performs a highly specialised task in the Internet “multiverse”.
They are so specialised that we have created a different websites for them, as each one merits its own separate focus.

This is the main site, and the hub of all the activity that goes on in the company. It was creating this company that has led on to the rest of the services over the last 12 years
This site promotes and sells our dedicated hosting services. We began by giving special attention to our new clients, and the service developed from there. We now have a large number of “hosting only” clients as well as catering for the majority of our clients that we have built websites for.
We initially developed our own Content Management System so that we could keep full control of the design and functionality of any websites that we built. Our radically different approach to other CMS solutions available was so successful, that we now sell the CMS as a development product to other web design companies all around the world.
We primarily design and develop fairly large bespoke websites. But what about the basic retailer or tradesperson that needs a simple web presence so that people can find them in web searches? We have developed a service of creating 4 or 5 page websites for an all-inclusive fee of £20 +VAT per month. We believe that it IS possible to provide a decent service at a ridiculously low price, if it is provided to enough people.
This community website for my own town of East Grinstead was initially developed in 1996 as an experiment in social contribution and exchange of information. We wanted to contribute something to the town. This was a long time before the current social networks, and so it is more of a “Directory” website. But many lessons were learned about the actual (not presumed) dynamics of a local community. The website has never made money, but that’s okay as making money was never the basic intention behind its creation. But as a direct result of the lessons learned, we have come up with a brand new concept in social networking, which is:
This new style community website for East Grinstead is a continuation of the experiment started with EGNet. The whole internet is available all of the time, to anyone, anywhere and any time. So individual communities can easily get swamped by the “greater wholeness”. The idea behind Village Cow is to give a community back it’s individuality and identity. The people of New York don’t care what’s happening in East Grinstead, and we share no, or few, issues. A town deserves to have it’s own say in things that affect it. Village Cow is built upon the premise of EXCLUSIVITY. Every town is unique, and we revel in our uniqueness.
